I use photography and abstract art together in the same work. My photographs represents the physical world. My abstract art represents the spiritual world.
I believe there is an unseen spiritual world that contains great truths that have eluded us throughout human history.
I imagine the unseen spiritual world by using a visual language of abstract faces, forms, shapes and lines which to me are always moving, thinking and evolving. Because in the unseen spiritual world I imagine there is always movement. And thought. And constant evolution.
I believe human beings will eventually evolve to the point where the physical and spiritual worlds merge (as my photography and abstract art merge in the same work). The human beings of the future will then be living in two worlds at once. They will learn the great truths the spiritual world contains and bring those truths back to the physical world and rebuild it.
There will then be a time of peace.
Using photography and abstract art together in the same work symbolizes the future merging of the physical and spiritual worlds and the next step in human evolution.
