I use abstract art and photography together in the same work.

My abstract art is made with drawing, painting and collage and by using a visual language of faces, forms, shapes and lines.

My photographs are from my own life. Many are photographs I have taken in the past. They represent the world as it once was, a world I feel is changing, rapidly.

Using abstract art and photography together symbolizes for me how the world is changing and becoming more abstract and unrecognizable from the world of the past.

But I also try to look to the future in my work.

I try to give my work a sense of movement. And a sense of spirituality.

This movement and spirituality symbolize, for me, my hope that as humanity moves into the future human beings will evolve and become more spiritual and humane.

If this occurs, the changes to our world that now seem abstract to us could eventually make sense to us, because they will have led to a positive next step in human evolution.
